Yes. You can research companies, find contacts, write outreach, and follow up independently. Working with us gives you structure, accountability, and feedback to help you complete every step accurately. Our included tools also streamline challenging parts of the process, such as finding contacts, tailoring your resume, and organizing follow-ups.
The program combines four live group calls with practical work on your own internship or job search. You’ll build your targets, strengthen your positioning, identify relevant contacts, and launch personalized outreach. Between calls, you’ll put each step into practice using the included tools and resources.
You’ll work directly with Luke, CareerTapped’s founder. He leads the two-week program and hosts office hours where you can ask questions, get feedback, and work through challenges in your search.
Both. The internship program is designed for students looking for experience. The first-job program is designed for soon-to-be graduates and recent graduates pursuing their first full-time role. Both teach the same core approach, with guidance tailored to the opportunities you’re pursuing.
You don’t need an exact job title or a finished company list. An initial direction—such as finance, marketing, or healthcare—is enough to begin narrowing your targets. If you already know what you want, we’ll help you turn that direction into a focused search and outreach plan.
The program includes tools and resources to support contact research, resume tailoring, outreach, and follow-up tracking. We’ll show you how to use them on your own target opportunities so they support each step of your search.
We’ll help you identify relevant recruiters, hiring managers, and team members at your target companies. You’ll learn how to decide whom to contact and use the included contact-finding tools to look for direct email addresses where available. The focus is on building a relevant contact list for your opportunities.
You’ll submit your applications and send your own outreach. We help you choose your targets, strengthen your messages, and plan your follow-ups so you can manage the process confidently.
Yes. When a role has a formal application process, follow it. Personalized outreach gives you an additional way to introduce yourself, learn about the team, and start conversations alongside your application.

You’ll continue using the process, materials, and tracker you’ve built to follow up, add opportunities, and prepare for interviews as conversations develop. The two weeks help you establish and launch your approach; your search can continue beyond the program.
